I am the author of several books about the lives and careers of film directors, including Andrew V. McLaglen (Shenandoah), Paul Bartel (Death Race 2000) and John Frankenheimer (The Manchurian Candidate). I served as literary content editor for director-photographer Steve Carver’s Western Portraits: The Unsung Heroes & Villains of the Silver Screen. I am also general editor for the ongoing oral history book series Roger Corman’s New World Pictures (1970-1983).
